Yes...it is Sunday. And yes, our church is from 11 to 2. And yes, I skipped church. (Quit judging me ; ) ) Nope...no baby...yet. I made waffles for breakfast, helped get the kids ready for church, put dinner in the crockpot, and waved to my little family as they drove away to church. I was just too lazy to go, or get ready I should say, going is the easy part. I hope Heavenly Father will understand my pregnant, uncomfortable, unmotivated excuses this one week!
When I went to the doctor on Wednesday, there was no change in my cervix...so he thought it best to wait. Dang. I was more than a little disappointed, to say the least. Oh well...it is what it is. So we wait. If nothing happens this week, Sunday is the day. 5:30 a.m. in the morning to be exact. Oh, I can't wait for Sunday! To hold that tiny girl in my arms, to feel relief, and just enjoy that very special time.

Today I am Thankful....
Lately I have been feeling a little down and kind of ancy (I know none of you can imagine why ; ) ). I think the complete lack of colors outside, except for the very consistant black, grey, or white color pallet has a little to do with it. So while I wait for this baby and try to keep my mind occupied with happy things, I wanted to make a list of the things that I am happy for right now:
Red tulips on my kitchen island
The half bag of Cadbury mini-eggs sitting in front of me (yes...it is my 2nd of the Easter season)
Clean little kids....just got out of the tub
The bright happy sun shining outside....haven't seen THAT in a while!
My dishes are done, no laundry in site (thanks to my wonderful man-love ya!)
Update on baby: I am dilated to 3cm. Doc said if I dilate to a 4 by this Thursday he will start me that day before he leaves for a week and a half to recover from surgery. Wouldn't that just be my luck that I WOULD go into labor when some other doctor I don't know has to do my delivery! If I'm not dilated by Thursday, she will come March 7th. And I will cry...if she doesn't come Thursday. Ugly ugly crying.

Stakerz
There is a blog you all HAVE to read. It will make you hug your kids a little tighter, watch them a little closer, and be grateful for the messes you have to...or should I say get to clean up. It is about a Mom and her sweet little family's experience that no one ever wants to face. Start reading her posts that start with February 1st up to the present. I sobbed through the whole thing. It is truly worth reading! The site is www.stakerzxposed.blogspot.com

Just Let Me Complain!
AAAHHHH! I want my body back! Don't get me wrong, I am so glad I am able to have my little children, but my word...I forget how bad it can get. This pregnancy has pretty much fixed me as far as wanting more children- which would result in pregnancy. This one has been so tough. I was SO sick (insert a SHUDDER and a GAG) at first....I hate puking! 2nd trimester was pretty darn good...but then 3rd trimester rolls around-a little more uncomfortable. Now I am 3 weeks away from delivering and I want to cry, scream, throw a tantrum, yell at my kids, yell at Cody, and just stay in bed. My left side of my back is so sore/tired, I have reflux so bad that I can't eat or drink (not even 1 swallow!) within 2 hours of laying down or it all comes up in my mouth....ick, my pelvis is seriously falling apart-it feels like it has to reshape itself every time I change position. I can't put on socks, paint my toes, shave my legs, or hardly get myself sat up straight in the bathtub! All my desire to leave the house for a break and go shopping is GONE. Yes...gone...weird I know. Which, I guess, is not ALL bad. We have been saving quite a bit lately now that I am home-barefoot and pregnant. (Barefoot, because I can't get my socks on.)
And no sleep. Oh how I miss you, sleep! Every time I need to change position...which is often, I wake up and try to do it in the least painless way possible. I have a million pillows to help make me comfortable....which all have to change position with me...so it's like a job to roll over. My skin is stretched to it's max and it's itchy...but no stretch marks...yet! I'll cross my fingers. Today I finally did the bills, did 1 load of laundry, 1 load of dishes...and I am pooped. It only took me 2 days to psych myself up to doing all that.
Cody is the man. I'm serious. He rubs my back every night, pulls me gently off the couch so we can go to bed, does dishes, laundry, takes care of the kids, and makes dinner. I love him so much. He tells me not to put any pressure on myself to get anything done and that I just need to relax, which is just what I need to hear because I ALWAYS put pressure on myself to get all these projects done, so I feel like I have accomplished something.
Thanks for reading my complaints...I know most of ya'll have felt the same with every pregnancy. I have nothing new that you haven't already experienced. But it's as close to therapy as I can get to just express how I feel...so thanks everyone! Dr. Bierer said he will start me March 7th, if I haven't delivered already. Which I won't-I'm sure. My kids hang on in there with their finger and toenails til' someone rips them out of there!
