I Think We're Going To Need An Ark...

...Oh, Noah, WHERE ARE YOU WHEN WE NEED YOU!!! Morgan, like most places, is bracing for the Great Flood. What has been so amazing to me is to see our community, neighborhood, ward, & stake come together to prepare and help one another. Three times now we have been called upon to get sandbags ready, and every time hundreds have shown up. In all the uncertainty and straight up FREAKING OUT I have been doing (I single handedly ate almost an entire bag of pistachios one night), I have the upmost confidence in the people that we are surrounded by. I really thought I should be documenting some of this. These pictures are of the creek, individual homes preparing, tractors burming the banks, our own basement preparations, and the ward sandbagging by East Canyon Creek that is at the end of our subdivision.

My little Partner-In-Crime!

The burm in the vacant lot at the end of our subdivision

Cody built these awesome shelves to get everything up off the floor

This is a vast difference to 3 days ago...old toys, old gift bags, tissue paper, boxes galore, food storage, bags of clothes...etc ALL OVER the floor.

Nothin' like the threat of a flood to make you kick it into high gear and clean up your basement!

Our view from the back of the house...notice all the brown, it's fresh dirt that is burming the edges of East Canyon Creek

Aimee Ferrin....this one's for you. Wrangler Butt's must drive you nuts!!

Easter Once Again

Easter was fun...everything really is just more meaningful with kids, am I right? Sunday was our big day: the Easter Bunny found our house, we colored Easter eggs (didn't quite get to it on Saturday), and had the big Easter Egg hunt at Grandma & Grandpa Williams house. It was such a restful day and it was so nice to just hang out with family.

After the hunt cousin Alex cut Addie's hair for the first time ever. Just a trim though...mama loves her long curly locks! Thanks Alex...looks fabulous!

Silly silly children!

Addie's best buddy and cousin Nichole-just enjoyin' a cupcake..mmmmm!

Playing Peek-A-Boo with Dad...ha, ha, ha...Dad, your SO funny!

Addie found the Golden Egg at the hunt. This is her loot.
Lucky girl...wish I had $10 bucks

This kid found a TON of eggs

Our "egg-straordinary" art work!

Keep your eye on the kids...I know, I know...I look FABULOUS!
